We award an annual pass to the angler that catches the first legal fish of the year for the following 4 species — Pompano, King Mackerel, Black-fin Tuna & Cobia.

Spring Clean-Up Dive
Every April divers enter the water to remove fishing and other foreign debris around the pier that could potentially be harmful to marine life.
Wednesday night Fireworks Show
On Wednesday nights from Memorial Day through Labor Day we host a Fireworks Display! The Fireworks display will begin at 9:00PM.
Some sections of the pier will be closed for safety starting at 7:30PM.
End of Summer Clean-Up Dive
Early August this dive gives the best time to view marine life, such as dolphins, sea turtles, and sharks.
Take a Kid Fishing Day
Every September kids under 18 fish for free with fishing instruction by local Anglers and Pier staff.
Also with conservation and educational booths from Local Wildlife groups, Florida Fish and Wildlife, and Visit Destin Fort Walton Beach.
